A Doula is someone who looks after a woman, and her baby both physically and emotionally during the pregnancy,
labour and after, whether she chooses to have her baby in hospital or at home. Modern hospitals can seem impersonal
and quite frightening, so while staff may change shift, a Doula offers continuity of care, a reassuring presence and
is there exclusively for the woman, and not the hospital or medical staff.
My clients know they can call or email me whenever they like and I won't judge I will just listen!
I believe in supporting my clients both physically and emotionally, to en-power them to make the best decisions for themselves
and their baby.
I hope to provide a reassuring presence throughout the whole process, helping them towards the most positive birth
experience possible.
